As part of the 2026 Orange Fire Festival we will be having a Strawhouse Shindig.
Join Meg Simpson & Justin Byrne of Strawhouse Wines and guest musicians, Trouble with Johnny, as we light up the afternoon in and around the Strawhouse Tasting Room and Deck. This year we welcome Japanese food van pop-up Koyama Kitchen who will be serving their tasty treats on the day. Your ticket includes a welcome glass of wine and the band. A chilled out (!), relaxed Fire Festival event. Children free. A dog friendly outdoor event.
Trouble With Johnny is a well known local band featuring Cecelia Rochelli vocals, ukulele and percussion; Rocky Rochelli vocals, keyboards, percussion and musical machinations; and Will Ferguson vocals, guitar, harmonica and percussion. These musicians have been performing for over 40 years (scary) mainly in the central west area of NSW. Their love of all music genres has led them to perform in many various musical situations including pub gigs, corporate gigs, cabaret, musical theatre, social functions, festivals and conventions. And Strawhouse Shindigs! Their aim is to entertain and please with their versatile sound that can change from an infectious dance beat, a romantic french ballad, to the jive of a jazz big band.
We are really excited to welcome Koyama Kitchen to the Strawhouse Shindig, a Yatai in the Central West, NSW serving Authentic Japanese Street Food in Wiradjuri Country. Yay!!!
