2022 was a splendid season, cool temperatures and generous rain giving us fruit with flavour & crisp natural acidity. The grapes were hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed and fermented in a combination of old French oak, newer French oak and stainless steel. This, our first 100% Semillon, has a classic waxy lemon Semillon nose and a complex palate suiting richer seafoods. It’s a wine that is beginning to drink well and with continue to develop in the bottle for many years. May throw a harmless, natural crystal tartrate deposit.
