Named for granddaughter Lilian, this blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) was fermented and matured separately before being blended to make this delicious medium-bodied red. The wine has charm, freshness and fruit flavour in the blood plum spectrum. We selected the brightest barrels of Merlot and blended Cabernet to get a complex yet delightful red wine. Nine months in barrel gives texture and balance. The fruit for this wine came from one of our neighbours on Boree Lane; it is an excellent expression of the Orange region.
